Immigrants are people who move from one country to another. They all have different reasons: to get a better job, to be closer to family, to escape persecution, etc. Some people wish to limit immigration, believing that they belong in their own country. But really only the government should be able to decide.
If large bodies of of country’s people continually move around from place to place, then that country loses people they could incorporate into the workforce, thus limiting the country’s growth. This is especially true on the continent of Africa, which often has a lot of immigrants leaving countries to go to others and internationally displaced persons, also called refugees (people who leave their home but stay in the country).This could be a reason why much of Africa, the Central African Republic included, are developing countries.
Having said that, the Central African Republic believes that there should be laws for immigration in all the countries of the world. People who border-hop that committed a felony and are caught in the other country should be returned to the original country to be properly punished. However, if an immigrant is found in the country for a good reason, say to support his or her family, then that immigrant should be able to stay and job-hunt- if, of course, the second country’s government believes that he or she can stay. The individual country's government, be it local or national, should be the one to decide whether or not immigrants can stay
