Citizens should be given the right to protest against their own government as long as it is in a peaceful manner. Everyone should be able to speak out if they have a disagreement with what and how the government runs their country. If these citizens protest peacefully and it exceeds into a violent protests then the protesters should have limitations with the way they want to approach the certain situations that the citizens are passionate about.
Cuba does not mind peaceful protests, but many of these protesters are paid by outside influences to help make them overthrow their own government. We are willing to let the protesters out of imprisonment,for example we released political protesters because the catholic church had persuaded us to. Cuba is a country where protests are allowed but they have limitations on what they can say against the Cuban government. Allowing protests in Cuba it will give the citizens hope on changes in the situations they are currently fighting for. If these citizens actually have peaceful non violent protests we would be glad to let them, but it usually ends and stirs up conflicts that Cuba does not want in the country so we arrest them to put a stop to the chaotic protests before it gets out of hand. How a country allows protests it could end up in violence and arrests which solves nothing. Being a communist country we do not like the idea of our citizens speaking out about how we run the government, but we will allow these protesters to take a stand. Except these protesters cannot speak harshly about the Cuban government for that will cause tension between the different groups of citizens with different perspectives within Cuba.
The UN could suggest that we ask the pope to intervene on the protesters behalves. Also to help create economic sanctions that provide some freedom and rights that would be given to the protesters as long as they keep it a kind and peaceful protest to both the other citizens and the Cuban government.The Cuban government wants to see these protesters be given what they want, but it will take time to try and accomplish what everyone wants in the country of Cuba.
