Conflict has always been a major problem on the Korean peninsula. Recently, according to some sources, South Korean activists for human rights in North Korea are intensifying their campaign against China's harsh treatment of North Korean refugees, demanding asylum for a defector who faces execution if China sends him back to North Korea. It seems that there will never be peace between the Asians. We, the delegation of Panama disagree. We believe we can fix this problem if we try to establish peace between the neighboring countries.
Panama proposes that we should send in troops to the Asian peninsula to help send relief to the North Korean refugees. We also think that we should help the countries reach an agreement and sign a treaty or pact to help establish peace and harmony between these nations. Panama thinks that the time to act is now. This is a situation that cannot wait. We believe that we need to help build a better sense of unity among the Asians before we have to face war or worse-total separation. By acting as the Asian nation’s guides, helpers, and prime model, Panama can help them attain a true sense of community. By staying united, we can act together and help make the world a better place to live for everyone.
Panama wants to help keep peace between all Asian nations, thereby we support that the time to act is now. Panama wants to ensure the futures of these people and help the nation prosper. Panama wants to see many great things come from this nation, and we believe that with other countries’ help we can lead the nation to greatness.
