Algeria recognizes the great amount of turmoil brewing in many nations around election time. There is has been an outstanding amount of violence occurring recently in the African states of Kenya and Zimbabwe. In Kenya, the violence is, of course, due to the country’s elections. There has also been a rise in the number of rapes occurring Kenya. Algeria feels that this is a huge problem which should definitely be placed atop our list of priorities. This violence is causing many deaths of innocent villagers who have nothing to do with all of the violence. Also the rape is greatly spreading diseases and viruses, especially Hepatitis.
In Zimbabwe, the violence is even worse, and yet a bigger problem. The violence there is not only between the citizens of the country, but also the government. Mugabe is sending troops to hurt and kill innocent people for the simple reason that he wants to be reelected. Algeria feels that this is terrible and needs to be stopped very soon. this is a huge problem which should definately be focused on. Mugabe is causing the deaths of many innocent people just because of greed.
If an end is not put to all of this violence soon, as well as the rape, then disease will spread and even greater turmoil will break out.
Algeria is not a contributor to any of this election time violence. Algeria will cooperate with the efforts of other countries to put a clean and safe end to this disastrous activity.
