In Sudan, we have been working on sustainable development. Sudan faces important environmental issues: desertification, harsh land degradation, and deforestation. We have signed onto agreements that promote sustainable development such as Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development (SARD) Initiative: People shaping their Sustainable Futures.We, Sudan, are for sustainable development.
Agenda 21 is a plan of action. It works in areas in which humans impact the environment. We, Sudan, are a part of this plan. Sudan has ratified the Global Environmental Convention with global environmental objectives that were agreed at the UN Conference, 1995.
Sudan has signed onto a number of plans; Establishment of and African Regional Centre for Infectious Diseases has four primary themes. Three of them revolve around sustainable development. Sudan is part of this act. Another one is Great Apes Survival Project (GRASP) which, also, includes sustainable development. Several others include: Nile Basin Initiative and Sustainable Biotechnology and Agriculture in Africa.
Sudan is for sustainable development which is evident from all the plans ratified and agreed upon. The environment is very important and we want to help fix that. We are ready to help solve this crisis by negotiating a solution with the other countries.
Sudan is for sustainable development and we look forward to negioating with other countries to find a solution.We have signed many plans and think that sustainable development is good thing. We thank you, and we look forward to talking about this.
