The issue at hand is supporting sustainable industry with out harming our environment more than we already have. The pollution that is pumped from these industrializing nations is drastically affecting our world. We need to find a way to stop this pollution and support the economies of the many nations of the world.
What we need to do about this is instate a plan that will help countries develop in an eco friendly way, while still being efficient. The millennium development goals will do just this. With the millennium development goals in effect countries will be monitored to insure that they are following the rules set by this plan.
All countries should support this plan. It is the smartest way to industrialize our world. If we continue down the path that we’re currently on then someday we won’t have a world to save. We need to act now and I believe that this plan will help us get started. We can save the environment and support economies at the same time.
This plan will require a lot of cooperation from all countries in the United Nations. We will need both a source of funds and a way to monitor the different nations. Smaller countries who are not well developed may oppose this plan, because they are currently developing. The problem with this is that it makes no sense this plan will help them develop, both more quickly and much more intelligently.
