Palestine, a small region of land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River, is in an area known as the Middle East. The State of Israel and the Palestinian people have been fighting over who rightfully owns the land on the Gaza. Because the Gaza is religiously important to both groups, there have been constant arguments over who gets what portion of the land. The United Nations in the past has attempted multiple peaceful resolutions to solve the problem, but they have not been successful.

Because South Korea and the United States are allies, and the United States and Israel are allies, it is naturally assumed that South Korea and Israel are allies. This is not the case. South Korea does want to delve in too deep and get very involved in the issue of Palestine. However, South Korea is in partial support of both Palestinians and the Israeli's. South Korea would like to see the massacres in Palestine to stop, and would also like to see Palestine and Israel to come together in peace. It is hard for South Korea to take a stance on this matter when they are trying hard to solve their own problems to come together with North Korea in harmony themselves.

South Korea urges the UN to take some sort of action to try and stop the massacres in Palestine and try once again to have Israel and Palestine attempt to arrive at a peaceful conclusion in this horrible matter. South Korea hopes to see Palestinians and Israeli's live together in peace and harmony.
