For many years, Morocco has been searching for peace in the Middle East. While Kyrgyzstan is just outside the borders of the Middle East, efforts still must be made to insure its stability because its unrest may spread to other parts of the world if the current chaos is allowed to continue. Morocco has many appeals to Kyrgyzstanis, especially in the area of religion. Both countries have high Muslim populations which places both countries in the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC). Religion is always a close tie to the people of a country and it is the people of Kyrgyzstan who are searching for stability.
Riots continuing throughout the country of Kyrgyzstan must be stopped seeing as they have been continuing since April, and became so bad that the president was forced to flee the country. Many countries belonging to the United Nations have openly made statements toward supporting peace in Kyrgyzstan. If other countries of the UN have made statements, why not take actions. Some minor actions have already been made by the UN such as sending UNICEF aid which Morocco praises heavily, but still feels that it will never be enough to establish a strong peace treaty. Morocco hopes to make an active movement toward establishing a new, stronger government in Kyrgyzstan. In order to end violence in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan must also make efforts to end its antagonizing actions. Cooperation from both countries must be mediated by a country that has intentions of establishing peace. Morocco requests that it should be the country to monitor the resolution to end the chaos in Kyrgyzstan.
