The problem in the Korean Peninsula is one that affects the whole world indeed. It has been a place of conflict for many years and still continues as North and South fight each other many conflicting issues. Many people have lost lives and family in the fighting and conflict. With North Korea continuing to develop nuclear weapons the fighting will on cease to go on.
The representatives of Mexico feels that this needs to indeed come to an end and talks of peace between both parties are desperately needed. Mexico has given the soldiers to the Peace Keeping missions and would not like to seen any of our soldiers die anymore in this senseless fighting. We strongly support any peace talks or negotiations between the two nations.
The conflict is threat to international peace and it is the duty of the United Nations to stop this and put a end to it. We suggest that North Korea does stop the development of nuclear weapons. There needs to be a talk between the two nations on solutions of the problems. As North Korea clearly has a humans right issue, that also needs to be addressed in some way. These are just some problems that need to be dealt with now in order for there to be peace in the world. All attacks need to be stopped.
Mexico would love to too see this conflict come to an end and will help in anyway to come up with a diplomatic solution that is necessary. New policies and treaties are strongly needed here. As long as both parties will be willing to corporate a solution can come out of it but if not the peninsula will continue to be a problem for years to come.
