On the topic of Access to Education for Girls, Jamaica believes that it is an important issue and that everyone should be able to get an education. One school that we polled showed that girls outranked the boys in several areas in their education. Stopping a girl from being able to get in education puts them back years and not allow them to further their lives. One of the things that we do to make the girls get further ahead is that we instill them with knowing that they are set to certain rules such as not getting out of line while, their male counterparts are taught more to be themselves since that’s all that they will have. Countries that do not help their girls to get an education need to do that since there is no reason for them not to. Another thing about our girls is that they are held to a higher expectation is some aspects of their education, it is looked down upon more if a girl does not do well, they miss a lot of school, or if they rather be rich than have an education. Some things that we do need to change is the mentality of our girls since some of feel that they do not need college to be successful. For a country to become a great nation it has to have all of its people at their peak and allow for them to have the education that can further their lives and show their country in the best possible light. Making sure that girls can get the same type of education as boys is something the whole world should strive since they are the future and we want to make sure that generations down the line are prepared and educated in the things they will need to know, and that includes females.
