Cyber warfare is rising and becoming something that more countries should be aware of and need to start protecting themselves from. There are viruses which spread instantly and can lead to cyber war, terrorism, espionage, crime, protest, and vandalism. This is becoming more of a priority and countries are racing to protect themselves. In order to protect one another we need to form an alliance that comes together and deals with a very board issue.
Malawi is a small country in sub-Saharan Africa which doesn't have much access to the internet. This does not mean that they are not affected but computer viruses. In the last four year, a virus called Raila Odinga hit Malawi. This virus damaged so much that it destroyed the flash disk on the PC's. The computers it affected also rejected every sort of remedy to fix the problem. The Director of Tech Solutions of Blessings Chipande has urged users to have a watchful eye for any more viruses that might be coming their way because this first one has become a very big issue
In order to fix this problem we need to form a unity to protect not just ourselves, but everyone affected by cyber warfare. In order to do so we need to, first we need to set up an education system of how these viruses are set up and how to prevent them in the first place. Another thing we need to do is work together to become one and protect everyone for cyber threats. We need to create a community of defense from these viruses. In order to accomplish this goal we are going to have to work together and the UN should hold meetings to assess the problem.
