People suffer every year around the year from medical problems. These can easily be avoided with the proper recognition of what is needed. Healthcare is a topic of much debate across the world; is it considered a right or just something that only a wealthy country can afford? There is not one country in the world that has the goal of specifically wishing its people unhealthy. Argentina believes that every country in the world should have a healthcare system that benefits every member of a country, and there should be a dialogue with the countries that cannot afford to do so.
Most importantly, when it comes to health care the most important step is to develop a method of disease prevention. There must be cost-affective steps taken so that every country has access to healthcare and cannot claim otherwise. Argentina believes that healthcare is a right every person of every country should have universally. Argentina understands that every country cannot afford to pay 9.5% of its GDP on healthcare expenditures; there must be a solution set in place so that less wealthy countries can afford to prevent disease. Maybe more wealthy nations can fund a program that contribute to something that would leave a lasting impact like funding the education of local peoples who can further educate more members of local populations on the prevention of sicknesses. Furthermore there should be no distinction placed between am immigrant to a country and a natural born citizen. If healthcare is offered to one person it should be offered to any person no matter their citizenship.
The committee should make an active effort to implement a system in which every country can afford for basic healthcare. Because Argentina believes that healthcare is a human right the committee should also make an attempt to define that everyone should have access to healthcare no matter what the circumstances. The committee should also organize a response organization to help developing countries build and react to unknown healthcare emergencies.
