Giving the exponentially globalizing world, the movement of ideas, products and most importantly people has become an ever-increasing trend. Governments should do little, if any, to impede on the movement of people form nation to nation. Iran, however, does believe that nations do indeed have the right to determine which people are allowed to enter their country, for the sole purpose to protect their national sovereignty. Any immigrant should have the right to freely leave the nation in which they reside, however, Iran again reaffirms that nations do indeed have the right to prevent certain individual immigrants from entering their nation.
Iran sees no issue in a nation denying liberties to immigrant populations that are not citizens. This is because the immigrants have yet to obtain the legal status of citizen and therefore should not reap the benefits that a citizen deserves. Since immigrant populations are so large in ever country, they should not be completely over looked by the nation. If immigrants live within the boarders of a country they deserve the same military protection that every citizen would be granted.
Iran recognizes the huge social changes happening in this world, and therefore sees no reason to differentiate between ethnic groups. Iran sees great value in the youth of our world and understands that the road to citizenship should be easier than for a student or youth. Refugees of military conflict also deserve certain privileges such as shelter, food, and perhaps even a job to get them off of their feet. A government however, should never turn its full focus from its citizens to immigrants.
