The People's Republic of China have always embraced and taken advantage of technology in order to further develop and improve our great country. One way that technology has been extremely important is our progress towards the Millennium Development Goals. China has made outstanding progress, and was the first developing country to reach its hunger goals. Other technologies have enabled China to reach other goals, such as a lower child and maternal mortality rate. In addition to these important goals, China has also greatly reduced those affected by disease by utilizing technology in local and widespread areas. The Millennium Development Goals were met by China before the deadline with the assistance of important technological advancements.

Countries can use technology to greatly improve their overall health and economy. Education is an important step of allowing these countries to become comfortable with these important changes. One way of providing information on the benefits of using modern technology to assist countries in their goals would be holding a conference, much like the ones we have. It would be important to gather both representatives from the countries that have already achieved their development goals and to also gather representatives from those who do not know about what technology is available. Educating countries in STEM fields will greatly improve their economies, regardless of its current state. The people of China are hopeful and excited that developing countries, much like China itself, will embrace the new technology and use it to improve themselves.

Developing nations should first embrace farming and healthcare technologies. It is technology like this that has cause The People's Republic of China to achieve its Millennium Development Goals much faster than other countries. It is worth noting that China's impressive progress in relationship to these goals should be utilized in assisting in other developing countries. China would be in favor of any resolutions that inform and urge countries to embrace important technology that would benefit the development and health of their people. Currently, China is experimenting using nuclear technology to improve crop production and quality of crops. This will create varieties of seeds that grow larger and better. Since The People's Republic of China has achieved such great success, China would like to see developing countries taking the same steps that China has. Achieving a higher standard of living will be made easier through the use of technology and education surrounding this new technology.

One way that China has been able to achieve its goals so quickly is through smaller centers scattered throughout our country. Establishments such as disease control centers have made China able to combat disease and effectively deliver treatment to those in our country that need it. The prevention and assistance to those already suffering with the disease has lead China’s mortality rate from diseases such as HIV/AIDS to greatly decline. With the addition of new technology, other countries will be able to follow China’s example and greatly improve living conditions in their country.
