The question of the Kurdish state has become a major issue in the Middle-East. The people of Rwanda believe that the Kurds are infringing upon the national sovereignty of the Turkish, Iraqi, Iran, and Syrian people. The Kurds have no right to claim their territory and Rwanda believes that full citizenship rights should be granted to the Kurdish people and allow for residency with consent of the governments of the surrounding territories. Rwanda also believes that the creation of a new state should be allowed away from the lands they currently occupy with the consent of the surrounding nations Rwanda believes this solution will help to quell disputes between the Kurds and the governments of the territory they have occupied by making a state in which the Kurds can thrive in independently. The people of Rwanda argue that the civil unrest in the Middle-Eastern countries will prevent countries from working with the Kurds to address the problem at hand. Therefore, Rwanda believes that a slow, diplomatic solution is necessary in order to bring peace to the Middle-East and calm the conflict between the Kurds and Middle-Eastern countries without the use of military force. Rwanda suggests that the UN also send peacekeepers to the region to oversee negotiations to ensure they go smoothly and violence doesn't break out with the consent of all the nations involved.Through diplomatic means, Rwanda believes that the Kurds and the Middle-Eastern countries can reach a decision that will benefit all parties and ensure peace in the region.
