The average of infant deaths in Mexico are 12 per 1,000 as of 2015, but countries in the Middle east and in the African Nations are suffering gigantic losses in regards to infants. Overall, Nearly 10 million children under five died worldwide in 2006, that is a daily rate of 26,000 deaths. Mexico likes the idea of supporting other countries in reducing infant mortality, but Mexico’s resources and economy are spread thin due to the Mexican currency the Peso decreasing in value, and other economical issues. While Mexico is a mostly healthy country, Mexico is still working on reducing its own Infant deaths and would have a hard time contributing to the final conclusion.
While Mexico has hundreds of years of experience in mortality registration, it has not yet solved the problems caused by the under-recording of infant and Maternal deaths, The fourth Millennium development goal [Reduce Child Mortality] of 2014, has not yet been reached though we still strive to improve the mortality registration, both infant and maternal mortality rates and their specific causes, these include, Anything from abortion to delivery and any other causes during pregnancy. In 2015, 1.3 million of the 122 million people that populate Mexico use a non-profit organization as their health care provider, this may link to the still troubled infant mortality plaguing mexico. Also the 5th millennium development goal [Improve Maternal health] for 2015 was improved, by reducing the Maternal mortality by 36%, but is still higher than other Latin American countries. The Native Mexicans are worse off, The Native Mexican mothers die in childbirth 70% more often that the national average.
