Finland generally believes that as a member of the UN and as good global citizens, that it is our duty to make the world a safer place, therefore, Finland believes that this topic of nuclear armaments should be handled with the utmost sincerity and should be handled gently as to not spur any conflict among these nations. The nation of Finland doesn’t believe in the use of nuclear weapons as shown by the fact that we do not possess any. And Finland believes through great strides in foreign affairs and diplomatic talks, that the people of earth could eventually fully disarm and live together in relative harmony. And though it may sound nearly impossible, Finland and other peace loving nations can find new ways of putting aside our differences, most likely using a slow method of nuclear quotas which regulate and determine who has too many nuclear weapons and what to do in cases of war amongst nations.
In regards to emerging nuclear states, Finland believes the best course of action with this situation is to find a method of keeping these states under world supervision from creating a possible global-thermonuclear war while also keeping these nations and their peoples safe from the foreign meddlings from superpowers and all other nations alike. Finland believes that this would be fair to all nations, and would be beneficial to all, big or small, powerful or weak. The emerging nuclear states would be disarmed eventually as well, but this would be once all nations have their nuclear arms to an acceptable minimum that all nations can agree to.
