Potable water, otherly known as improved drinking water which can be used for anything ranging from food preparation to drinking water. In 2012 nearly 4 billion people had access to tap water while 2.3 billion had access to well water. However, 1.8 billion people still only use water that is contaminated by diseases and feces. In Argentina, It is generally safe to drink tap water throughout the country. Mostly safe to drink, it is a simple question to ask if at the area it is drinkable and reliable. Globally in 2012 nearly 89% of people had clean drinkable water. Whereas the average American drinks roughly a litre a day while 95% drink less than three.

The reason this could be a big thing in Argentina is because it would guarantee safe drinking and food preparation water throughout the whole country. It would make it so that no matter where you go you don't need to either ask or check online if the water in that area is safe to drink. Even though most of the water throughout the country is safe and viable to drink. It would simply just make it an easier place of mind for those tourists who don't know where they want to go. Also it would help tourism in South America because that fear that is there for waterborne diseases would diminish by a large percentile.

From the country standpoint we would like this to proceed to further development. Make it so that potable water can be accessed no matter where you are in the country. Even though only parts of the country need it, it would make our country better for not only tourists but people that life in those parts of the country that want fresh water. This would make it a lot easier for many people who don't trust the water from our country, trust us.
