The country of Angola believes that we don’t need to make any strategies to promote ecologically sound development. Since we are fine to do what we have been doing since there are no problems with our environment down in our country. We will do better as we extract our mineral and oil deposits since we need the money to help our citizens. There is no damage to our environment as we continue to do this so we believe that there is no need to do this. It is completely useless for us to follow any regulations as there is no damage to the environment. We are one of the most biologically diverse countries in Africa and we would protect our environment at all cost because of that. Because of this we would stop and regulate when we find out that our environment is being damaged, however that is not the case. Our environment has experienced no changes as we continue to do our activities such as drilling out oil and mining out minerals. So Angola does not see why we need to regulate anything when we experience no damages that other countries are experiencing. It is not our problem that these countries are experiencing this since we have not had any of this damage therefore we think that we should not have to make any strategies as we do not have any problems in our country. So we find it unfair that the other countries want to put regulations on all of us while we do not need to do anything.
