Finland’s biodiversity is impressively good with very little light, water, or air pollution. Finland believes in a good environment, proof with their many organizations and strategies put up to help preserve int within the own country, and that good can come from helping the earth, not only health wise but economically too.
Some of these organizations are the Strategy for the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biodiversity in Finland, who works to stop the loss of biodiversity, some of their goals is to sustain the use of natural resources and to obtain more participants to work towards bettering our environment. The revised Programme to Promote Sustainable Consumption and Production goals are to lessen amounts of greenhouse gasses in the air, helps create environment-friendly transportation, and set an example for others to follow by creating solutions to such problems. Finland has reports from the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation that of environmental crimes, in Finland and other places as well, which can be solved with the participation of all.
Keeping a clean and healthy biodiversity not only helps people's health, ease of life, and wildlife health, it could also have profits. Many tourists could come from all over just to see the beautiful wonders of nature in countries, one of Finland’s biggest attractions.
Finland’s main goal is to reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses released into our air, the Carbon Neutral Municipalities project is one solution in question that is starting out, and already has some support. Finland believes in the reduction of the need for using and overusing countries forest and other natural resources. An example of overuse would be the Amazon Rainforest, with an alarming rate of deforestation of approximately 78 million acres lost each year. The forest of Madagascar, with a high rate of slash-and-burning happening. Cars, especially in high population density areas, are also giving off an alarming amount of greenhouse gasses into our air, in some bad places, it’s visually evident with a coat of smog.
So with the help in preserving our forest and natural resources, we can help save major forests, holding a good majority of our animal species, help reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses put into the air, the main causes being cars and factories, and to help people profit from saving our earth.
