Iran sees that the conflict that has emerged through the occupation of Palestinian land by the unprincipled Zionist regime is the cornerstone of all hostility throughout the broader region. For too long, the Palestinian people have been stripped of their rights and ignored by the international community. In recent years, with the introduction of Israeli settlements in the West Bank and the crisis in Gaza, the Palestinian people have witnessed the land which is rightfully theirs stolen from them by a rogue regime and its allies. Iran will not allow the Palestinians to be forced into such a defensive position: it will ensure that the Palestinian struggle continues unremittingly until these peoples can achieve complete liberation.
In continuation, many years ago, Iran rescued the Jewish peoples from oppression by saving them from Babylonian servitude. But now, Iran must stand up for the Palestinians, whose rights have been trampled by the potent Zionist authority. In its quest to advocate for justice and Islamic values, within the SPECPOL body Iran will aggressively promote the return of the Holy Land to the Palestinians, and the immediate end of Israeli occupation. The poisonous entity which currently presides over these lands has broken international law, including multiple United Nations resolutions, such as resolution 54 and 2334, all while the international community has turned a blind eye. The Western suppression of the Palestinian cause for independence must be brought to conclusion by this committee.
Moreover, it is so often that the imputinous Israeli regime obstructs the movement for the restoration of Palestinian rights by accusing these peoples of being a terrorist entity. Yet, is it not the meddling of Westernized entities such as Israel that is the root of instability and the rise of terrorism throughout the area? This destructive force must be overcome. Iran is looking forward to working with its allies in the region to stand up for the cause of the Palestinian peoples. The just solution to this conflict is clear, and the Islamic Republic of Iran will not allow for the continuation of international complacency.
