Regarding the increasing tensions involving the nation of Israel and the territory of Palestine, which have held place since the UN Partition Plan in 1947, the Ukrainian delegation is highly concerned of reaching a peace-agreement, which may be suitable for both parties. This delegations is confident that such resolution most be properly supervised by United Nations. This statement sustains itself with precedents of previous agreements reached by the UN, regarding the topic in hand. Hence, the discussed parties have violated several of them repeatedly, with no remorse. As it viewable with the Camp David Accords, the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative or the stoppage in the development of the Oslo Accords. The importance of such a topic relays in the increasing violence between both parties, due to their need of maintaining an ethnically preferential state. Ideology that leads to an immense hatred and discrimination towards each other. Therefore, for the purpose of creating a solution which leads to an end of such violence. The Ukrainian delegation proposes the continuance and the strict supervision of the agreements previously reached by the parties, the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative, as well as the Madrid principles including land for peace. This delegation is confident that if such continuance is given and both parties agree on an unconditional fulfillment of the above-mentioned solutions, it is only a matter of time before an environment of peace and respect is reached within the territory of Israel.
