The Democratic Republic of Congo is currently facing a great amount of political turmoil. Establishing a democratic vote for the citizens of Congo started the bringing together of a nation in distress. With this step toward fairness also came with withdrawal of foreign militia. However, the beginning steps alone will not lead this nation out of bad waters. There needs to be more progress in solving the many issues prevalent in the DRC. There is an aggressive group thought to be lead by Nkunda that is turning heads and causing a great deal of distress in the Congo, it has been discussed by the Congolese government that this group alone may be the leading cause of the distress taking place in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In order to help the people of this country, there needs to be strong collaboration among our nations. The Central African Republic is more than willing to help the DRC work towards becoming a more unified country.
Currently the Democratic Republic of Congo is dealing with great instability. The Central African Republic supports our neighboring nations and is deeply concentrated on creating a change that would insure an amount of security in the country. One of the many concerns at hand is the disbarment of Nkunda and his army. We believe that an area that needs to be explored in the search of Nkunda is stricter border control. This demands a lot of time and manpower to be discussed among the nations. We have hope that this matter can be resolved and peace will return to the DRC.
