Canada has suffered from natural disasters like any other country. Our natural disasters have mainly been from earthquakes and the occasional hurricane. Such as Hurricane Juan which resulted in 8 deaths and 300 million dollars in damages. We have had to rebuild after some of our natural disasters and have assisted other nations that are in need.
Canada will lend support to nations struggling after natural disasters. Canada will gladly donate money to help rebuild post-destruction disasters. Also we would lend men power and resources if necessary to help the nations affected by the natural disasters that cause them to rebuild on a massive scale. If Canada has any sort of interaction with a nation that has been affected by a natural disaster then it will gladly help in anyway necessary to help that nation.
If Canada should find itself in need of rebuilding after a serious natural disaster then it will use its resources so that it may rebuild. However Canada would appreciate if other nations would contribute any amount of money or resources to help with the rebuilding process. SO if in the future Canada should experience a natural disaster that requires us to rebuild then Canada would formally request help from any nation along with using many of its own resources and money t rebuild.
Canada believes that nations everywhere need to make buildings that are earthquake proof. This would stop building from collapsing in terms of earthquakes at least. Policies should be put in place so that buildings over a certain height should be made so that they are earthquake proof. Also funds should be put aside so that when a nation finds itself being forced to rebuild after disasters then these funds can be given if it is deemed necessary that the nation requires it.
