So the republic of Croatia is in favor of Palestine and Israel coexisting as two separate states. We as a country think that even though this dispute is hotly debated that we should find a way to divide up the land so that everyone gets something.
Croatia formalized relations with the PNA in March 2011. The dispute between Israel and Palestine and the republic of Croatia tends to think it boils down to a religious stand point of Jesus returning to the holy land and since most of the world is dominated by religion and the belief that Jesus Christ will one day return to the holy land, a lot of the world supports Israel, but the middle east ironically does not which is where Israel is located,
If you are involved with this conflict it boils down to, do Palestinians deserve the statehood or not. Are our deeply held religious beliefs wrong? Have we been wrong about how the world works for five thousand years or so? These are the questions we need to ask the world. Should we support a belief that is most likely wrong and contradicts what we know about science.
The thing Croatia wants is something that everyone wants which is to have a place to call home and be proud of it. Where are Palestinian kids supposed to say they’re from? There definitely is a way Palestine and Israel can have a country, there just has to be give and take.
