Topic 1: Stopping the spread of disease across international boarders
1) The spread of disease in the United Kingdom across international borders is becoming much more widespread today due to travel and contact involving people, animals and insects. The spread of disease is when germs must be present in the environment, either through a person moving the germ or through infectious body fluids, such as discharge from the eye, nose, mouth, or digested; in the air or on a surface. A person who is not protected to the germ must come in contact with or be exposed to the germs. The contact or exposure must be in a way that leads to infection. The UN needs to help keep disease spread under control and help prevent from it spreading vastly to other countries.
2) The United Kingdom could help control the spread of disease by being more cautious of the exports and trade items through countries. Inspections of food and other goods of insects that have the ability to carry disease and harsh chemicals that could cause disease would help keep the spread under control for a vast period of time.
3) In addition to making sure that exports and imports are safe from disease carrying insects and harsh chemicals, the United Kingdom would like to increase a stronger border control. Right now, the border control has external control including visa issue in oversea posts, borders such as; passport and custom controls. Along with internal immigration controls. The UK feels that we should strengthen the border control and make sure that controls the spread of disease to other countries.
