The education of women is the most basic factor in a modern nation. In order for the world to move forward; to reduce poverty, promote freedom and peace,the education of women must become a priority for all. The women of australia have worked very hard to achieve the quality of education that they do now. We now have countless women involved in our government, business, and other leading roles of our society. One international study found Australian women to be, ‘the most empowered in the world.” Our goal is to further that progress within our own country as well as the rest of the world and are willing to lead that movement forward. One of our major Human right’s organizations; CARE has already gone into other nations in order to promote and improve the education of girls in those places, and we are ready to do more. In this committee we hope to pass resolutions that will reinforce girls dignity and value by providing and establishing accessible education for every girl on this earth. We wish to establish basic standards and requirements for countries in regards to their educational systems and the girls in their countries. With the support of the world leaders here today; we know this goal is feasible although difficult. While we know some nations do not support the education of females; we must acknowledge that such education is essential for a country's success and if implemented will ultimately better that nation as a whole.If certain nations would oppose the values and ideas stated here; we ask that they would consider the women in their own lives and countries; and what denying them education really says about how they are viewed.
