Weapons of mass destruction have always been a pressing issue throughout the world. We as fellow human beings, have an obligation to ban together and keep safe that which is most important in instances like this; order and peace. We as United Nations must find a way to suppress the life threatening scenarios that can be potentially caused by unaccounted control of WMD.
There are several steps to keeping all WMD accounted for. One; world powers must hold greater account for their weapons. Two; Non-world powers must seek aid from allied world powers to keep control and watch over any WMD that they have. As a country with close relations to the United States, Jamaica will assist them in precautions to protect WMD in addition to aiding defense against any instance of militant threat from terrorist groups that have control of unaccounted WMD. If threatened, Jamaica expects our allies to do the same. The Jamaican Defense Force, although preoccupied with police aid currently, will willingly do their part in assisting world powers in snuffing out any WMD threat.
Because Jamaica is not (alone) a powerful military force against such things as Weapons of Mass Destruction; We seek to reach out to our American Ally as well as other world powers such as Germany, to assist in keeping control of WMD to defend against the potential risk of said weapons getting in the wrong hands. The priority in dealing with illicit trafficking of said weapons is security, and it must be maintained.
